倫敦礦業公司的經營戰略
倫敦礦業公司（簡稱“LM”）開發鐵礦和煤礦供應給全球的鋼鐵和能源公司。2008年公司出售了巴西項目，在向股東返還2.2億英鎊後，尚有3億美元盈余，爲短期生産准備了充足的資金。公司預計2009年中國和哥倫比亞的項目可以形成收益，2010年來自這些項目和其他項目的收益會增加。公司擁有超過13億噸的鐵礦石和數量不斷增加的煤礦，我們會投入技術和資金快速提高産量，並讓更多礦井投産。倫敦礦業重點關注那些因靠近客戶、投入低、産品好而盈利空間較大的項目，跨越了選礦/球團/焦炭生産和價值鏈上其他有持續優勢的項目。集團與中國和沙特阿拉伯有承購協議，建設中的均衡資産組合正陸續産生現金流以支持集團的發展。
主要目標：
關于50%持股的沙特倫敦鐵礦：完成沙特阿拉伯Wadi Sawawin項目年産500萬噸集散及球團設備最終可行性研究，確保通過沙特合作夥伴完成項目融資，爲2012年的生産目標開始建設。
完成格陵蘭Isua高品位磁鐵礦團礦料項目可行性研究，探索與沙特倫敦鐵礦合資公司合並，以利用Isua的球礦料增加沙特阿拉伯的直接還原球團礦的産量。
開始塞拉利昂Marampa尾礦年産300萬噸鐵礦石項目的建設和生産。
完成對中國生産中的鐵礦石項目的收購，開始增加産能，降低成本並提高作業標准。
推動倫敦礦業煤礦業務的增長。公司在南部非洲和南非有煤礦，可以考慮先期投産。公司同時考慮收購哥倫比亞的煤礦和生産中的資産。
