Jiangbo Pharmaceuticals' treatment for bone marrow inflammation added to National Medical Insurance Directory
Jiangbo Pharmaceuticals (OTC: JGBO) (‘Jiangbo') expects to achieve meaningful sales volume growth following the inclusion of its traditional treatment for bone and bone marrow inflammations, or Osteomyelitis, in China's 2009 National Medical Insurance Directory.
In China consumers can claim against their insurer, to reimburse the costs of drugs that are approved and included in the medical insurance directory. "The inclusion of Osteomyelitis treatment tablets in the 2009 Edition Directory is an important accomplishment for our company", Jiangbo chief executive Wubo Cao said.
The drug-maker, based in Shandong province, is the exclusive manufacturer of the ‘Kang Gu Sui Yan Pian' Osteomyelitis treatment. The treatment is a 100% herb-based traditional Chinese medicine, which has been clinically tested to be effective in treating long term osteomyelitis problems.
The company also has four other products included in the 2009 directory, including herbal flu remedy Radix Isatidis, the ‘Yi Mu Cao Gao' treatment for several abdominal conditions, one of its antibiotic treatments and its own branded paracetamol tablets.
