China Information Security Technology selected by State Grid Corporation of China
Digital security specialist China Information Security Technology (NASDAQ: CPBY) has been selected as one of only two suppliers by the State Grid Corporation of China to supply geographical information systems to the roll out of China’s smart grid.
The other company selected was US based ESRI.
The State Grid Corporation of China develops and operates the
electric grid providing electricity nationwide and is in the midst of a
large investment program to strengthen its information systems to
support the build-out of the nationwide Smart Grid.
China Information Security Technology’s geographical information
systems will be integrated into the management functions of the smart
grid.
