London minnow Enfis wins contract to supply LED arrays to NBA Stadium in Guangzhou
Shares in Enfis (LON:ENF) were up 85% in early afternoon trade after the grouo announced this morning it was contracted to supply LED arrays and drivers for the NBA Stadium under construction in Guangzhou, China , for this November's Asian Games, which it said would help it showcase its product in the whole of Asia.
The contract is the group's largest individual order for architectural lighting since the Yas Hotel contract in the second half of 2008. Enfis will provide a total 900 LED light engines for the stadium for an undisclosed amount.
Enfis said that its LED arrays are "compact, high-power spot source and optics with excellent colour-mixing enabling quality, efficient, long-throw lighting," enabling "remote management, monitoring and control, reducing risk during installation and in ongoing system support."
"Enfis light engine technology will be showcased to the whole of Asia during the Asian Games to be held in November 2010. The project should act as a lighting flagship for Enfis and its partners, with excellent prospects for follow on business in China and throughout the Asian continent," said chief executive Ceri Jones.
