HotCloud Mobile to distribute apps on NexBoom tablet computers
Wireless telecommunications company HotCloud Mobile (OTCBB:HOTM) said Thursday it has signed a deal with NexBoom that will see its mobile apps distributed to NexBoom's network of up to 100 million social media users.
The agreement will also see HotCloud promote NexBoom's new tablet computer and 4D mobile app technology, and provide NexBoom customers with a customized mobile product insurance policy.
NexBoom's tablet uses cloud computing, allowing HotCloud to offer a wide range of apps that aren't confined by the user's device.
"Technologies are converging right now that have the power to completely change the way we work and play," said HotCloud CEO David J. Bleeden.
"4G/LTE, cloud computing, mobile apps and handheld computing are coming together to redefine productivity and entertainment. HotCloud is excited to be part of this transformation."
HotCloud's shares jumped 12.16% at the news of the partnership, trading at $0.415 per share on the OTC Bulletin Board, as of 11:21 am EDT on Thursday.
