Great Basin黄金任命首席运营官
总部位于温哥华的矿产资源开采商Great Basin黄金（TSE:GBG）周一表示，它已任命Dana Roets为首席运营官。
取代Johan Oelofse的Roets，是一个合格的采矿工程师，比勒陀利亚大学的校友。
2010年2月，他被任命为 Great Basin黄金企业发展副总裁，在今年年中加入英美铂金之前。
他在Gold Fields的St. Helena金矿开始他的采矿职业生涯，然后在Oryx金矿担任总经理两年。
在担任Gold Fields的Free State矿运管理董事四年以及Beatrix金矿运营主管副总裁之前，他还曾担任Kloof矿业的管理董事。
Great Basin的首席执行官，Ferdi Dippenaar说："他在大型资本项目设计和管理方面的经验将证明在此特别时刻同样宝贵，因为我们正在推进两个项目的建设：我们在南非Burnstone矿的生产，以及美国内华达州 Burnstone矿的推进"
Great Basin黄金开发和探索贵金属矿床。其项目包括霍利斯特黄金项目，位于内华达州的Carlin Trend金矿，以及南非威特沃特斯兰德盆地的Burnstond金矿。
