Exco Resources委任Geoff Laing为总经理
珀斯的Exco Resources (ASX:EXS)委任Geoff Laing为总经理。
在2011年8月前任总经理Michael Anderson辞职后，他就担当CEO的职务。
在2011年6月Cloncurry Copper项目销售给Xstrata之后此职位为公司开展了新的道路，
Exco保持其在西北昆士兰的勘探计划以及在与Polymetals (ASX:PLY)合作的White Dam Gold项目生产产生的不间断的现金流。
此工程金价较低，税额为6800万美金，净资产收益率为850%后，赢得利润。
在Cloncurry Copper工程以0.1美金每股的资本收益率及每股0.28美金的股息销售给Xstrata之后，Exco于12月分配了1.35亿美元给股东。
Laing为在矿业领域拥有20年经验的工程师，获得了澳大利亚西澳大利亚大学的MBA学位。
他参与的矿业包括在澳大利亚及海外的项目开发，包括Norilsk Nickel, Anglo Platinum, BHP Billiton及Phelps Dodge主要项目，他在工程商业及管理方面有管理及技术经验。
在过去四年，Laing为Exco的项目开发经理及企业发展经理。
