Contruction and infrastructure shares surge on talk of strong May data
Shares in construction companies and construction materials as well as ports, highways, railways and airports rose today on talk that fixed-asset investment data for May will be higher than expected.
Port shares surged the most. Jiangsu Lianyungang Port Co.（SH:601008）and Wuhu Port Storage & Transportation Co.（SH:600575）surged to the 10 percent trading cap. Jinzhou Port Co. (SH:600190) advanced 6.47 percent. Nanjing Port Co. (SZ:002040) added 6.37 percent. Dalian Port Co.（HK:2880）climbed 5.88 percent.
Shenzhen Expressway Co.（SH:600548;HK:0548）rose 10 percent on Shanghai and 4.48 percent on Hong Kong. Henan Zhongyuan Expressway Co. (SH:600020) gained 4.23 percent. Anhui Expressway Co. (SH:600012;HK:0995) added 3.48 percent on Shanghai and 2.42 percent on Hong Kong. Sichuan Expressway Co.（HK:0107）surged 9.96 percent.
Daqin Railway Co. (SH:601006) rose 4.05 percent. Guangshen Railway Co.（SH:601333;HK:0525）added 2.46 percent on Shanghai and 5.79 percent on Hong Kong.
Shanghai International Airport Co. (SZ:600009) rose 6.34 percent. Shenzhen Airport Co.(SZ:000089) added 3.01 percent
Shares of construction companies and construction materials also advanced.
China Railway Erju Co.（SH：600528）and Tengda Construction Group Co.（SH:6000512）surged to the 10 percent trading cap. Tianjin Good Hand Railway Holding Co.,(SZ:000594) added 5.28 percent. Sichuan Road & Bridge Co. (SH:600039) climbed 3.86 percent. China Railway Construction Co.（SH:601186;HK:1186）added 2.66 percent on Shanghai and 1.74 percent on Hong Kong.
Hebei Taihang Cement Co.（SH:600553）surged to the 10 percent trading cap. TaiyuanTwinTower Aluminum Oxide Co.（SZ:000795）rose 7.33 percent. Anhi Conch Cement Co. (SH:600585;HK:0914) climbed 6.20 percent on Shanghai and 2.59 percent on Hong Kong.
Angang Steel Co.(SZ:000898;HK:0347) added 4.78 percent on Shanghai and 8.23percent on Hong Kong. Maanshan Steel Co. (SH:600808;HK:0323)climbed 1.31 percent on Shanghai and 11.07 percent on Hong Kong. Nanjing Iron & Steel Co.（SH:600282）advanced 8.06 percent. Ningxia Hengli Steel Wire Rope Co.（SH：600165）surged to the 10 percent trading cap. Chongqing Iron & Steel Co.(HK:1053) climbed 5.92 percent.
