China A Share Fund
Morgan Stanley China A Share Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to seek capital growth. The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in A-shares of Chinese companies listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges. The Fund’s investment advisor and administrator is Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc.
The Fund is the first — and still the only — U.S.-registered fund investing principally in China A shares. It is a closed-end, non-diversified fund, which was distributed primarily to individual investors in the U.S.
