Hainan Airways Group expands Zhejiang shipping business
HNA Group, is to take a 50 percent stake in Zhoushan Jinhaiwan Shipyard in Zhejiang province and has signed an agreement with Zhejiang Energy Group to set up a joint venture that will be engaged in coal and ore transportation.
Under the Jinhaiwan agreement, HNA Group will hold a 50 percent stake in the company and has made an order of 30 ships. Jinhaiwan aims to increase its profit to RMB1.7bn in 2010.
