GigOptix in consumer electronics JV
GigOptix Inc, and Hong Kong's Pangaea (HK) Ltd said they signed a memorandum of understanding to extend their partnership through the formation of a joint venture company to market digital interconnecting products for consumer electronics in China.
The business will be headquartered in Hong Kong.
Pangea CEO Richard Fung said "With this joint venture we plan to accelerate the creation of cost effective optical interconnect designs to support our customers in making the switch from copper."
