ChinaNet raises US$9.5m in private placement to expand online and television platforms

ChinaNet announced yesterday that on August 21 it completed a private placement of units, consisting of convertible preferred stock and warrants, to accredited investors for a net proceeds of approximately US$9.5m primarily for the expansion of its online and television advertising platform and working capital.
