China Technology Development names Frederick Tang new CFO
China Technology Development Group Corp. (NASDAQ: CTDC), a provider of solar energy products in China, said it has appointed Frederick Tang, who has been working with the company as vice president, as the new chief financial officer.
He is replacing Gary Leung who resigned for personal reasons with effect from September 1 2009.
Prior to joining CTDC, Tang acted as finance director and company secretary in several international corporations in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Southeast Asian countries, including ecSolutions Corp (Shanghai) Ltd and Beauty Spark Engineering Ltd, the company said.
CTDC's major shareholders include China Merchants Group, one of the biggest state-owned conglomerates in China, and Beijing Holdings Ltd, a conglomerate established by the Beijing municipal government outside mainland China.
