QiMing Information Technology Co is engaged in research, development, manufacture and services of management software for the automobile industry and automobile electronic products.
The company offers enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs), product data management systems (PDMs), manufacturing executive systems (MESs) and total distribution systems (TDSs). It also makes automobile electronic products, which include car information systems, vehicle electronic control units, system integration, which involves the design of information applications, construction of network platforms and integration of application systems, as well as a data centre business.

QiMing IT receives another project subsidy
QiMing Information Technology Co announced today that it has received a further project subsidy of RMB6m from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
The subsidy concerns a new high tech vehicle service platform that has been listed as a “state high tech industry development project plan”. Shares in QiMing rose 3.3 percent on the news, to RMB23.79.
On February 13, the company’s previous pre-installed car navigation system was made public, and received a project subsidy of RMB10m. The project was listed as a “key technology application” on February 10, and may be in line to receive a government subsidy of RMB20m.
QiMing’s core products include management software for auto companies, auto electronic products and internet system integration. The company’s auto industry management software and car information systems have the largest market share in their sectors. Management software generated 66 percent of the company’s earnings in 2008.
