Lingbao gold production rises, raw material costs weigh on profits
Lingbao Gold’s gold production increased by 7.8 percent in 2008, bringing turnover up by 25 percent to approximately RMB3.6bn, however profits were down by half as the company saw raw material cost increase by 30 percent.
The company it would work to reduce costs in existing operations continue to explore gold mines, such as Lingbao Nanshan Mine Region, Hongxin Mine Region, Xinjiang Habahe, Nanyang Xingyuan and Jinchan in Inner Mongolia.
